Terms of Service
These are the ground rules for working with Sunrise Hauling Co. — how we quote a job, what a dump-trailer rental includes, what we can and cannot haul, and what we each agree to. Plain English, no fine-print games. Anything unclear? Call or text and we’ll walk you through it.
Effective date: July 22, 2026
Sunrise Hauling Co. (“Sunrise Hauling,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a junk removal and dump-trailer rental company serving the Tampa Bay area of Florida. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) apply to this website and to every job, quote and rental we do for you (“you” or “customer”).
1. Agreement to these terms
By requesting a quote, booking a job, renting one of our dump trailers, or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not book with us.
If you are booking on behalf of someone else — a landlord, a property manager, a family member, a business — you confirm that you have the authority to agree to these Terms for them and that you are responsible for payment.
You must be at least 18 years old to book a job or rent a trailer from us.
If we agree something different with you in writing — a written quote, a booking confirmation, or a signed rental agreement — that document controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
2. Services we provide
Depending on availability, we offer:
- Junk removal — furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard waste, garage and shed clutter, and general household items, loaded and hauled by our crew.
- Cleanouts — garages, sheds, storage units, estates, rentals and full properties.
- Construction and demolition debris removal — from small tear-outs and remodels.
- Dump-trailer rentals — we drop a trailer at your property, you load it at your own pace, and we haul it away.
We serve Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties, including Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Plant City, Apollo Beach, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes, Odessa and Dade City. Jobs outside that area are handled case by case; ask us and we will tell you honestly whether we can get there.
Our hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We are closed Sunday. We offer same-day service when the schedule allows — it is never guaranteed, and it depends on crew availability, drive time and how full the day already is.
3. Quotes and pricing
Junk removal is priced by how much space your load takes up in the truck — not by the hour and not by the item count. We give you that price up front, before any work starts.
- Anything we quote by phone, text, email or from photos is an estimate. Photos and descriptions can only tell us so much.
- When the crew arrives and sees the actual load, we confirm the final price on site, before we touch anything.
- If the load is bigger than described, or includes items that cost more to dispose of, the confirmed price may be higher than the estimate. You will hear that number and agree to it before we start working.
- If you decide not to go ahead at the confirmed price, you can decline. Tell us before we begin loading.
- Some items carry extra disposal fees charged by the facility — appliances containing refrigerants, mattresses, tires and similar. We will tell you about those when we quote.
Prices published on this website are residential rates and may vary by location, access and material. Commercial and contractor work is quoted separately.
4. Dump-trailer rental terms
This section applies whenever we drop a trailer at your property for you to load. It matters, so read it before you book.
Rates, rental period and included weight
Our published residential dump-trailer rates are:
- 10-yard trailer — $325, a 3-day rental, up to 1 ton of included weight.
- 15-yard trailer — $375, a 3-day rental, up to 1.5 tons of included weight.
- 20-yard trailer — $450, a 3-day rental, up to 2 tons of included weight.
The rental period runs for 3 days from delivery. Weight is confirmed at the disposal facility, and anything over your included allowance is billed at $120 per ton. Weight overage is prorated to the nearest fraction of a ton wherever the facility reports it that way.
Placement, access and permits
- You are responsible for providing a safe, legal and accessible spot for the trailer — typically a driveway with enough width, height clearance and firm surface for a truck to back in and drop the trailer.
- You are responsible for obtaining any HOA approval or municipal permit required to place a trailer at your address, including any permit needed to place it on a street or public right-of-way. We do not obtain permits for you.
- Keep the placement area clear on delivery and pickup day — cars moved, gates unlocked, low branches noted in advance. If we arrive and cannot safely place or retrieve the trailer, we may have to reschedule.
- Do not move, tow or otherwise relocate the trailer yourself once it is placed.
Loading limits
- Do not load above the trailer rails. Loads must be level with the top of the rails so the trailer can be hauled legally and safely. We may refuse to haul an overloaded trailer until it is brought back under the rail line.
- Distribute weight evenly and do not concentrate heavy material at one end.
- Heavy material such as concrete, brick, tile, soil and roofing shingles adds up fast — a trailer that looks half empty can already be over its weight allowance. Ask us before loading it.
- Nothing prohibited under Section 5 may go in the trailer.
Additional days, damage and responsibility
- If you need the trailer past your 3 days, call us before the rental period ends. Additional days are charged at the daily rate quoted to you at booking. Late returns without notice may incur those additional day charges.
- While the trailer is at your property it is in your care. You are responsible for damage to the trailer beyond normal wear — including damage from overloading, fire, chemical or corrosive material, prohibited items, vandalism or theft while it is in your possession.
- You are responsible for the contents of the trailer and for anything a third party puts in it. If neighbors or passers-by add material, that material becomes part of your load and your weight.
- A trailer is heavy. Placement on driveways, pavers, lawns, septic areas and similar surfaces is at your risk — see Section 6.
5. Prohibited and hazardous materials
Disposal facilities will not take certain material, and neither will we. Do not place any of the following in a trailer or in a load for pickup:
- Hazardous waste of any kind
- Paint, solvents, thinners, fuels, oils and similar chemicals
- Asbestos and asbestos-containing material
- Medical waste, biohazard waste, sharps and contaminated material
- Propane tanks and other pressurised or sealed tanks and cylinders
- Large quantities of tires
- Anything whose possession, transport or disposal is illegal
If prohibited material turns up, we may refuse the item, refuse the job, or stop work already in progress. If prohibited material is found in a trailer, you remain responsible for removing and lawfully disposing of it, and for any fee, fine or additional cost caused by it. If you are unsure whether something qualifies, ask us before it goes in the load.
6. Property access and damage
By booking, you confirm that you own the items being removed, or are authorised to dispose of them. If a landlord, an executor, an HOA or anyone else needs to approve the removal, that approval is on you.
You agree to give us safe access to the property and to point out anything we should know about — septic tanks, drainage fields, irrigation lines, soft ground, pavers, low clearances, pets and anything fragile in the path.
Our crew takes reasonable care while working on your property. Even so:
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for conditions that already exist when we arrive.
- We are not responsible for ordinary wear, marks or settling on driveways, pavers, lawns and landscaping caused by the normal use of trucks, trailers and equipment. Heavy vehicles leave impressions; that is part of the job.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by structural, surface or ground conditions you did not tell us about.
If something does go wrong, tell us right away — ideally while we are still on site — so we have a fair chance to look at it and make it right.
7. Once it is hauled, it is gone
Everything we haul is taken to a donation centre, a recycling facility or a disposal site, usually the same day. Once material leaves your property we cannot retrieve it, and we are not responsible for items included in a load by mistake.
So, before we pull away: walk the load, check the trailer, and check the truck. Look for anything that was not supposed to go — documents, keys, jewellery, tools, sentimental items, anything stored inside furniture or boxes. Empty drawers, safes and cabinets first. When you tell us we are clear to leave, the load is final.
8. Scheduling, cancellation and weather
- Bookings are for an arrival window, not an exact minute. Traffic, dump lines and the job before yours all move the day around. We will keep you posted if we are running behind.
- Same-day service is offered when the schedule allows and is never guaranteed.
- Need to cancel or reschedule? Call or text us as early as you can — ideally the day before. Early notice costs nothing and lets us give the slot to someone else.
- If our crew arrives as scheduled and cannot do the work — nobody is there, there is no access, or the job turns out to be something entirely different from what was described — we may charge a reasonable trip fee to cover the run.
- Weather: Florida weather is what it is. Lightning, heavy rain, flooding, high winds or a named storm may force us to delay a pickup, a drop-off or a trailer retrieval. We will reschedule as soon as it is safe. Weather delays are not a breach of these Terms, and we are not liable for losses caused by them.
- We may decline or stop a job if conditions are unsafe for our crew, for you, or for the property.
9. Payment
- Junk removal is due on completion, once the work is finished and you have looked it over.
- Dump-trailer rentals are typically paid at or before delivery. Weight overage at $120 per ton, additional day charges, and any fee caused by prohibited material are billed after the trailer is weighed and emptied.
- We accept the payment methods we tell you about when you book. Ask us if you need something specific.
- Quoted prices do not include any applicable taxes or government fees unless we say so.
- Unpaid balances may be subject to reasonable collection costs. If a payment is declined or reversed, you remain responsible for the amount owed.
We will never ask for your bank login, and we do not need a full card number sent by text or email.
10. Limitation of liability and disclaimer of warranties
We do our work carefully and stand behind it. That said, and to the fullest extent Florida law allows:
- Our services and this website are provided “as is.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — for example lost profits, lost rent, missed deadlines, or the cost of hiring someone else — arising out of our services.
- Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the job or rental in question.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, including weather, road closures, disposal facility closures, equipment breakdown, labour shortages and acts of government.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Sunrise Hauling Co. harmless from claims, fines and costs arising out of material you gave us that was prohibited, unlawful, or not yours to dispose of.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and both of us consent to that venue.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it later.
12. Changes to these terms, and how to reach us
We may update these Terms as the business changes. When we do, we post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. The version in effect when you book is the one that applies to that job. Continuing to use the site or our services after an update means you accept the current version.
Questions about any of this? Julian and the Sunrise Hauling team will talk it through with you before you book — that is the whole point of putting it in writing.
